The ingredients needed to make Grilled Corn on the Cob:
  1. Take Corn on the Cob (enough for amount of people eating)
  2. Get Olive Oil
  3. Get Kosher Salt
  4. Take Coarse Black Pepper
  5. Prepare Favorite BBQ Rub or Mexican Seasoning
  6. Get Unsalted Butter
  7. Get Chopped Fresh Parsley (Cilantro for Mexican seasoning)
  8. Get 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
  9. Take Lemon Juice (for BBQ), Lime Juice (for Mexican)

Dip an old bath towel in water, wring it out until it no longer drips. To make a slowly smoked corn on the cob, soak the ears of corn in water for a few hours, then rub them down with olive oil and chopped green onions. Leave the husks intact and smoke the corn for about an hour on the grill. The result is a perfect combination of sweet and smoky flavors.

Steps to make Grilled Corn on the Cob:
  1. Set out Butter to get to room temperature
  2. Preheat BBQ to medium heat (375°F). Middle and right burners on medium and far left burner on low.

  3. Lightly oil the corn on all sides and place onto middle and right medium burners. Let them char and rotate them until all sides are charred. Every time you rotate, brush corn with butter mixture
  4. Move corn to the left (low heat side) and let it cook until corn in tender. Once tender, finish by soaking corn in the remaining butter mixture. Wrap in tin foil and add more butter mixture when serving.
  5. Sprinkle chopped parsley for garnish and serve.

Leave the husks intact and smoke the corn for about an hour on the grill. The result is a perfect combination of sweet and smoky flavors. Remove corn from water and shake off excess. Remove the husks and eat on the cob or remove the kernels. Serve with the BBQ Butter and/or Herb Butter.
