  9. Cover and let simmer for another 15-20 minutes

Stir in gravy mixture, onion and bell pepper. My husband likes pepper steak with sweet 'n sour sauce. Stir in pineapple with syrup, vinegar and soy sauce. I added an extra tbsp of olive oil and used a little less black pepper and added some dried crushed chillies. Pour excess oil from the pan and add the vinegar.
