The ingredients needed to make Moringa and Toasted Grated Coconut:
  1. Get 1 bowl raw/fresh Moringa leaves
  2. Take 1 small brown onion - finely chopped
  3. Get 1 shallot - thinly sliced
  4. Prepare 5 dried chillies - halved & deseeded
  5. Prepare 1/2 C fresh/frozen grated coconut (150g) - or use as required
  6. Make ready Chicken seasoning powder/ bouillon powder as required

  8. Take 1-2 tbsp crushed peanuts gives this dish a nice nutty flavour

Heat the oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds followed by the chopped shallots. After the shallots are cooked to tender, add crushed chillies and curry leaves (optional, I didn't use them). Saute for a couple of minutes on a medium flame. Now add the mixed moringa leaves and combine well.

  1. Clean and remove moringa leaves from the stalks/stems.

Sauté finely chopped onion, sliced shallot & dried chillies until translucent. Stir in #Moringa leaves. Mix well until. Add toasted coconut and season with chicken seasoning powder or chicken bouillon powder. (You may add crushed #peanuts now, if using). Stir well to combine.
  2. Taste it and adjust seasoning accordingly. Serve with white #rice.

Saute for a couple of minutes on a medium flame. Now add the mixed moringa leaves and combine well. In a heavy-bottomed pot, combine lime zest and coconut milk and bring to a boil. Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar and salt in a large bowl. To serve: nutmeg toasted shaved coconut dried mango.
