  1. Make ready For Dhokla batter-
  2. Get 1 cup Rava
  3. Prepare 1 cup Curd
  4. Take 1 tsp Ginger paste
  5. Get 1 tsp Green chilli chopped
  6. Take 1 tsp Sugar
  7. Prepare As per taste Salt
  8. Take as required Water
  9. Get 1 tsp Eno or fruit salt
  10. Make ready 1 tsp Lemon juice
  11. Make ready For Tempering (tadka)-
  12. Prepare 1 tbsp Oil
  13. Prepare 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  14. Get 1 tsp Cumin seeds (jeera)
  15. Get 1 tsp Sesame seeds (till)
  16. Make ready pinch Hing
  17. Take 1 tsp Chopped curry leaves
  18. Prepare 1 tsp Green chilli chopped (optional)
  19. Get For Garnishing (optional)-
  20. Get As required Coconut grated
  21. Take as required Coriander leaves chopped

Mix well and make a thick batter. Now add green chili paste, ginger paste, sugar, and oil. Then add Eno fruit salt and mix into batter. pour dhokla batter into a plastic bag. Heat a tawa and grease with oil.

Steps to make Masala rava dhokla cake:
  1. Mix all ingredients of batter except eno. Beat properly.
  2. Add water to reach idli consistency. Cover and keep aside for 15 min. Meanwhile grease a container for steaming.
  3. After 15 mins, add eno and add lemon juice over it. This will activate the eno. Mix properly and immediately pour in the greased container, and then keep the container for steaming. I've used idli container for even steaming.
  4. After 15 min on medium flame., check if fully cooked. I switched off the flame and kept the dhokla untouched for 5 more minutes to get rid of stickiness.
  5. For tempering, add mustard seeds to hot oil. Once it starts sputtering,add other ingredients one by one.
  6. Add the tadka oil evenly over the dhokla..
  7. Dhokla is ready, garnish and enjoy..

Then add Eno fruit salt and mix into batter. pour dhokla batter into a plastic bag. Heat a tawa and grease with oil.
