  9. Now bake till 35 to 40 minutes.
  10. After baking put the ramekins in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  11. Demould and serve with whipped cream.

Serve crisp buttery biscuits on the side for crunch or flavour the custard. Transfer the ramekins to a baking tin and set aside. Increase the heat and boil the mixture, swirling the pan to make sure the sugar caramelises evenly, until it has taken on a rich, dark colour. Remove the pan from the heat and pour the caramel. In a liquidiser, place condensed milk, cream, milk, eggs and vanilla.
